CQ Diesel Fitting is a locally owned business providing a maintenance service to the Mining, Construction and Process Industries throughout Central Queensland in Australia.

With an extensive client base and upcoming contracts, we currently have a number of opportunities available for immediate start based at our Gladstone workshop facility in Central Queensland (Field Service and Workshop positions available).

As a qualified Diesel Fitter – Mobile Crane, you will be required to work in our workshop and on site to assist in all aspects of maintenance, repair and fault finding. This role requires the successful candidate to be motivated and to complete set tasks with minimal supervision.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Diesel Fitter with Trade Certificate.
• Attention to detail, dedicated and able to work unsupervised in a team environment.
• Sound knowledge of several well known brands specifically all terrain, rough terrain and crawler cranes such as the Grove, Liebherr, IHI, Franna, Hummer and Manitowoc brands.
• Knowledge of Franna & Hummer mobile crane experience kept in high regard.
• Knowledge & experience of Load Monitoring systems.
• Excellent time management skills & ability to plan workload.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good Communication skills – both oral and written.
